Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an enthusiastic group of students who come to school each day with a smile. They love to explore, investigate, and learn through hands-on methods. As an environmental science school, we focus on the sciences and project based learning experiences. I’d like to create a “science lab” where my students can become scientists. By adding science based/themed bulletin boards and reference posters, my students will be immersed in science data. The skeletal and body part models will be used during our anatomy unit. The microscopes and science viewers will be used to take a closer look at objects of study like insects and plant parts. The space model and planetarium projector will enhance our astronomy unit of study. The seedling indoor grow lights will be used for plant experiments completed in the classroom. I believe these resources will positively and greatly impact the education and motivation of my students! Thank you in advance for your support in the science education of my students!
