My Project

I am the school coordinator for our second school-wide science fair! The winner from each grade level will have an opportunity to represent our school at the district level. While the opportunity to win makes students excited, I want them to feel that the true prize is the knowledge they will win throughout the process! I would also like to get boards to sponsor students who may not have the funds to participate otherwise!

Help make this event one that makes every child feel empowered in learning and hungry for knowledge!

I want to make this event so memorable for students that they want to continue doing it year after year! The science fair is a hands on learning experience for the whole family! They can learn together and it will give them all an opportunity to ask questions, read, research, write, experience, persist through challenges, and practice public speaking! It’s everything all wrapped into one project! I want our students to fall in love with science! Exposure at a young age can shape their mindsets on future career options and more! Starting in middle school they will have an opportunity to do the statewide fair!
