Help me give my students accessible tools to explore temperature, weather and sunlight's impact
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Popow's classroom raised $179

My Project
My students are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to explore the world around them. They have a natural inclination towards science and love hands-on experiments that allow them to learn through discovery. My students are special because of their boundless curiosity and their ability to see the world with wonder. Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious, and they inspire me every day to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
The infrared thermometers we are requesting will make a significant difference in our science lessons.
Traditional thermometers are often too small and fragile for young scientists to handle safely. Infrared thermometers, on the other hand, are durable and easy to use. They allow students to measure temperature from a distance, making it safer and more practical for classroom experiments. With these thermometers, students will be able to explore temperature variations in different areas, understand the impact of weather, and investigate how the sun affects various surfaces. These hands-on activities will deepen their understanding of scientific concepts and foster a love for learning.
My goals for this project are to enhance scientific inquiry by providing students with tools that enable them to conduct accurate and safe temperature measurements, promote hands-on learning by encouraging students to engage in experiments that illustrate real-world applications of science, and foster curiosity and exploration by inspiring students to ask questions and seek answers through practical investigations.
By supporting this project, you will be helping young scientists develop critical thinking skills, gain confidence in their abilities, and cultivate a lifelong passion for science. Thank you for considering our proposal and for your generosity in helping us achieve our educational goals.
