Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a fourth grade teacher. I teach science to 75 wonderful students. These students are my inspiration, because they are excited about learning new facts everyday.
I am in charge of teaching science to three fourth grade classes. We have a wonderful science program at our school, but my students will be taking the Science ISAT test. This test involves all the science that they have learned since they were in first grade.
I feel responsible for providing them with engaging science centers that will help them review important facts as they work in centers with other students, independently or with teacher's guidance.
As I mentioned before, these children are great students. They are eager learners and are always motivated during our science class. Having fun and engaging science centers will give them the opportunity to review science facts that they learned in previous grades.
These science centers will be a great addition to my classroom, because children will use a variety of science tools that will allow them to succeed in my class and in standardized tests, not to forget that they will have fun as they learn.
