My Students

In our classroom, we strive to always do our personal best. We also recognize that each student's personal best may be different. Each one of my students is capable of so many things, yet most come to school with challenging situations.

My students come from a wide array of economic backgrounds.

Being a Title I school, our school has a high rate of poverty, but you'd never know that based on my amazing students. Despite the odds, my students come to school to enjoy learning.

My Project

Many of our science topics are very abstract and hard to grasp for my students.

For weather, I've included various weather tools that students rarely see such as an anemometer that measures wind speed.

They will be able to actually use this to see how it measures the speed of wind. I've also included weather maps for students to create their very own example of a weather map.

Our energy unit includes many topics, such as types of energy and magnetism. Visualizing magnetic field can be tricky, so students will now be able to make them and see how magnets work.

For plants and animals, there are also models for plants and animals that aid in understanding the parts of cells.
