This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During the pandemic, our students fell behind significantly. As we continue to play "catch up" having the necessary supplies (calculators) and support will give us the boost we need to rapidly move forward. My students are moving into high school next school year and they need every opportunity to learn as quickly as they can. Algorithms are important, but the time it takes to learn every step of middle school math will keep us trailing behind where we need to be for our upcoming high school freshman. This is the year to pour our love and all of our time and energy into taking our students to the next level.
