I want to make my classroom a place where students love to learn! I believe it is crucially important to get as much technology integrated into math classrooms as possible. I teach 9th graders who are new to high school and attempt to make learning as interactive as possible.
Many of my students do not have parents who can afford luxuries like scientific calculators. Instead my students are forced to face a situation where they are clearly at a disadvantage in many classrooms.
If I get these 10 calculators it will help ease the burden for some of my students. It will help even the playing field for these students and give them a chance at a more equitable education.
I care so much about my students education and do the best I can to help them achieve a love for learning and success in math classes they may not have experienced before. With your help my students can truly have a chance to improve their educational experience.
