Science Trolley, Storage, and More

Help me give my students a variety of items like a science trolley, new goggles, indoor recess alternatives, and storage containers to enhance our learning opportunities in the classroom during these COVID times.

My Students

Fifth grade is going to be amazing this year! My students are excited about the new year in a new flexible community environment. We will start off the year with 30-32 stellar students who are ready to learn and explore new things, find their voices, and enhance their community experience in the classroom.

A student-centered community environment, creating the best atmosphere for community voice and participation, and providing the right tools is key.

The students in my class are amazed at the great opportunity they will have this year in my Disney-themed classroom, to have a student-centered learning experience, with a lot of hands-on activities, being part of and understanding of a functioning community. With my style of teaching, I try very hard to help the students work through ideas and strategies outside of just textbooks and worksheets. This focus on the students helps engage them to have fun while learning new things.

So, hats off to my new class! It's going to be an adventurous learning year filled with lots of teaching moments with life connections in all subjects. Did I mention they are amazing? Thought so!

My Project

In light of COVID-19, we have had to use supplies in new ways. We are excited to incorporate additional new learning materials in our curriculum and classroom community. Bringing in dominoes, playdoh, and quiz buzzers, we can try different ways to learn in our current situation in regards to the pandemic.

To support our new classroom amenities, we will find great use from the requested storage containers and the science trolley cart.

My students and I thank you in advance for donating to our classroom project during this pandemic. We appreciate it very much and we are looking forward to utilizing these exciting materials.
