This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the best way to explore science by doing it. We will give them something to remember, by hatching chickens in our classroom. Each year we do a farm unit and my students love learning about all the different animals. Think about what an awesome experience they would have raising their own animals. We will make sure that after we hatch our chicks and care for them when they are big and ready to donate them to our local farm that cares for chickens. This experience will give my students something to remember in TK. I can't wait for them to get to watch their chicks hatch.
