This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my students are attending school for the first time, as most did not attend preschool. They are enthusiastic and ready to learn in spite of the tough neighborhood and harsh circumstances that they come from. Most have no exposure to technology or the world around them. Despite their circumstances, they are eager to learn about the world and put their stamp on it. Help me show them the impact they can make! There is nothing more important than confident and passionate learners.
My Project
As the world moves more towards technology, your donation will help my little scientists explore and look beyond our classroom walls into the world. My students come from very impoverished homes and have little or no background knowledge on many subjects. These Fire tablets will let them research and learn about many different things. They will especially help them understand and gain a love for science by allowing them to explore their interests in a fun, innovative way. The covers will protect the tablets as the children get familiar with this technology and give their little hands a better grip for maximum durability. We need children who are inquisitive and excited about the world around them. Help them make this transition into the world of technology!
