Hello! Thank you for visiting my DonorsChoose.org page. I have the most amazing and wonderful sixth grade students that love to learn science. My students are very diverse and have varying needs, however, the one common factor is the importance to interact collaboratively with technology. They greet every learning experience with enthusiasm and creativity.
My students are kind, hard workers, beginning scientists, and have a passion to learn!
Our school does not qualify for Title 1 funding, and with our current demographic mix, we are on the lower end of assistance from the state and county. We often use our own funds to ensure our students receive the tools they need to succeed. Any assistance you provide would be greatly appreciated.
My Project
Science Tablets Rock II! will help enhance my students learning by providing updated technology. The Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets will enhance my students interactions with real world learning. Students would be able to participate in virtual field trips, digital and virtual labs, Skype a scientist programs, and much, much more.
My scientists will be able to interface with scientists, engineers, artists, and technological experts in their labs and in the field.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets will open doors to the STEM opportunities offered outside our Science classroom which will broaden my students knowledge and provide opportunities for innovation and creativity.
