Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Science projects need a lot of science supplies. I teach science in 7 different classrooms - kindergarten and first grade. I love science and want my students to love science as well. We do a lot of projects and hands on activities, but a lot of them need supplies that we do not have, or have very little of. We would greatly appreciate if you could provide us with some of these essential science supplies for this school year. I want to make science fun and enjoyable for my students to learn and flourish in this school year and your donation would be exactly what we need for stardom. These are just a few examples of things we do: - Learn about the rainbow and sketch and color rainbows, for that we need crayons - We need scissors for just about everything that requires cutting, but we also use them as steel objects to test magnets - We use glue sticks to keep all of our construction projects together - We use highlighters to highlight important words on our worksheets My students are wonderful and they would be so grateful if you could provide them with these essential supplies. Thank you for your generosity.
