Help me give my students solar panels and motors so they can build solar cars.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ovalle's classroom raised $339

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to learn about science and participate in projects where they get to build things. My students will be learning about renewable energy, and this is a great project for students to gain a strong understanding of this topic. Students will work in pairs to build solar cars with the solar panels and motors I am requesting.
Students will build their solar cars, test their cars, and then revise their designs to improve the speed of their cars.
I have experienced that when students are able to engage in science by building and creating something, they then create an appreciation and interest in the subject. The funding of this project will help create future scientists that can potentially help the world come up with new solutions for renewable energy options.
