This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All these materials will support the hundreds of 2nd and 3rd grade students in their science education. I have my own science classroom in which I teach over 10 classes, and I want to provide them all with the environment that fosters learning and the supplies to help do so.

The laminator will help provide visual supports such as vocabulary cards and scaffolds for my students, especially Newcomers and English-Language Learners, and the 3-D models will help support all students when learning about life cycles.

The pencils will ensure no student is unprepared and the glues are for our Properties of Materials science unit. The materials in this project will go to great use in my science classroom for this school year and years to come!
