My Students
I work at an amazing school. Our community is close-knit, and many, like myself, grew up in our town. My students represent all different backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ethnicities. The staff works hard to provide meaningful instruction and memories that will last a lifetime.
My students are encouraged to be learners!
It's my goal to instill a love of learning through inquiry, exploration, and reading. I feel that books in their hands give them the greatest chance to go on an adventure, meet new people, or travel to faraway places.
My Project
Hearing a bunch of "ooohs" and "aaahs" make my job so much fun! Science is a huge part of our day, and one of the biggest ways to make learning engaging for students.
These materials will allow the class to do experiments related to our units of study.
Individual lava lamps, magnets, and other materials are all items that would be a great addition to our class, as they allow me to provide each student with the materials they need. With social distancing procedures in place, the need for additional supplies has increased.
