Help me give my students an opportunity to present and share their project presentations using a large format printer, using their posters to present their findings after several months of research and experimentation.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Science research is a course where students start out the year researching a topic for presentation. Students develop a project, design the experiment, conduct the experiment, then formulate their presentation. The presentation piece involves showcasing their project at our very competitive regional science fair. If the students win, they have an opportunity to present at various other competitions including the state science and engineering fair, as well as the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). In the past, we had a poster printer, which is now not functioning and obsolete. We need a new printer to provide students the chance to print their posters at school as they need to.
