This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has an amazing science research program. The students compete in regional, state, and international science competitions and do quite well.

At our school, science research is well respected.

The students take the class to conduct individual projects throughout the year. Many are able to continue their research in college. Our biology classes are often where we find the students to recruit for the program. We look for and encourage students that show an interest and love of science to participate in our program.

My Project

All of these items are for current science research projects. All can be used each year as we continue to grow our program. We have students conducting experiments in all areas of science: biological, environmental, physical, chemical, mathematics, and engineering projects.

We have more than the normal number of marine and environmental science projects which requires a lot of the same equipment to be used at the same time.

Using dissecting materials will allow students to examine their specimens under the microscope. Using the flash drives will allow them to move the images to the computers for analysis. We also need additional aquarium thermometers. This project will help us provide all students with the supplies they need to conduct their experiments. Thank you so much for the opportunity to meet their needs!
