My Students

Most of my kindergarten students love reading because they attend a full day program. I need these books to teach small reading groups, and my students love science.

I teach at a Title One elementary school that focuses on STEM Education.

I have 25 students that attend a full day kindergarten program. My students are entering at various reading levels and reading abilities. My students love science and our day revolves around science curriculum.

My Project

These materials will be used by my students in small reading groups. My students will be in groups of five along with a classroom teacher or assistant. While working in reading group with these books students will be taught phonics skills and practice fluent reading.

These books will spark the love of reading and fuel my students naturally curiosity to discover the world around them.

We know that readers are leaders, and scientists build a better world for everyone.
