My Project

My students are curious about science and how they can interact with their world. Many of my students are not strong readers. They have limited vocabulary and low frustration levels.

Providing high-quality read-alouds is important for developing vocabulary and strengthening students understanding of science concepts when they are not able to read the text on their own.

Each book or book set was picked to support the current topics in our science curriculum. These books are also not readily available in our school library. These books can be shared with other teachers in my grade level as well.
