This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will continue to enhance hands-on lab and projects that I strive to do teach students science concept. Yes, 8th graders have workbooks where they keep their notes, yes they have access to digital information. Science is more that reading about a concept. Science is about thinking on how to solve a problem, example, engineering a stand for iPad because I can't buy one. Students love to solve problems and show what they have learned.

Engineering project, hands on experiments, and models are what makes science fun and engaging.

After surveying my students on how they love best or what made them understand a concept is : you guessed it! Hands-on Labs!

Please help me, as some donors have done before, keep providing my students with real hands-on opportunities to learn in science.
