Our school has been implementing a multi-sensory approach to reading instruction using the Orton-Gillingham approach over the last three years.
My students love to use different media types to practice their sounds, red words, and new patterns learned.
I would love to add some different options for them using the items in this project. Having the gel boards and sand trays will give the opportunities for all twenty-five of my students to try different options. In addition, the sensory tiles will also greatly differentiate the choices of tactile approaches to reading for all learners.
