This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I am working as a reading interventionist with students in grade 7 to 12. Many of them have experienced ineffective teaching practices, disrupted learning due to COVID-19 and overall trauma.

Having snacks will not only motivate students to complete their assignments, but they will have energy throughout the day.

My goal for this project is to improve student literacy. These teens are very close to adulthood and providing them with snacks to motivate and fuel their day is an easy way to ensure they are on the right path towards fulfilling their dreams.
