My Students

We are located in one of the lowest socioeconomic counties in the state of Florida. Since I am an ESE teacher, I can say that this group of students are specifically ESE with IEPs and/or 504's. Our students are a wonderful group of students that are eager to learn, but struggle with different exceptionalities. Even though all students in the class will benefit, the ESE students will hopefully come out on top!

My Project

These items are just the beginning to a new middle school program here at Lake Butler. This personal fitness course is giving our students the foundations of science and nutrition to help guide them to a more physically and mentally productive life. The 3D model will allow students to get up close and personal the the parts of the body, whereas the posters will show them each system. Students often miss out at younger age on vital education related to their overall health, and that is where I hope to come in and supply them with some insights about themselves.
