This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wonderful group of 4th graders who love to learn! Hands-on projects are their favorite so I strive to provide as many of those experiences that I can! This project is for clay and calculators that will be used to create models and calculate complex problems.

Science, Art, and Math unite!

With this materials my students will be making models of the Earth. "mock rocks", and other geology related models. They will use the calculators to figure out and compute weights and other measures, and multiply and divide large numbers quickly! Lastly, there are batteries in my ask, because we can't use the calculators without them!
