My Students

Many of my students come to school from diverse backgrounds and have special needs. They love new materials and exploring the world around them. Most of my students are English Language learners and come from low-income families. These families have limited access to materials in print at home.

In our township, 78% of our students receive free or reduced lunches.

I am a special education teacher in an urban preschool and I co-teach with a teacher who specializes in students who are learning English.

My Project

We will be discussing similar topics of study and help our students to be engaged in the classroom. I have a cluster of English Language Learners in my classroom. They love new materials, and I love the fact that they can take this copy home to share with their families.

My precious students will be able engage in developmentally appropriate materials that they can take home.

The Scholastic magazines and books will promote literacy through science and social studies and help us support our young learners.

The students in my classrooms love something to share at home with their families. This magazine will allow for each student to make a connection at school that they can then take home and share with their families.

I am especially excited about the digital version that comes with a variety of interactive online resources that enhance each lesson.
