This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Science hands-on inquiry lab sets help students master science content. Students will learn how reactants become products in chemical reactions using the chemical observation set. With the DNA model and the Thames and Kosmos Genetics & DNA Version 2.0 students will be able to manipulate the different bases to gain a deeper understanding of the DNA structure. With the Frey scientific thermoelectric generator demonstrator, Science First steam generator and , the Frey Scientific Ball and Ring Apparatus students can explore how energy is transformed from one form to the another. In addition, the NeoSCI heredity of human traits lab set will allow students to cooperate with each other to determine the probability of different heredity traits of the offspring.
Students will be engaged as they make observations, manipulate materials, measure and perform tests while they work with the NeoSCI simulating natural selection Lab Investigation.
At the same time, students will create the atomic structure of elements, compounds, and molecules using the Delta Education atomic model Student Set. With the Innovating Science Distance Learning, Periodic Table of Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids set students can compare metals to nonmetals. With NeoSCI Understanding Acids, Bases and Salts Lab and the Hydrion Spectral pH strips students will be able to test different liquids and substances to test whether they are acids or bases. Giving my students exposure to hands-on lab activity sets will help them with science investigative skills and inquiry.
