Help me give my students prepared scientific slides, two butterfly nurseries, magnet wands and plat grow sets to help raise the level of learning in the science lab.
I teach five hundred students in the low country of South Carolina as a science lab teacher. They are caring and love getting online. They get hands-on crazy and they love building and creating. They are great writers and thinkers.
These are awesome science classes on the edge of America.
Many of my students are at or below the poverty level. You are truly loved by these students. They love to learn and love getting attention. Most have never had the experiences that most students have had. They may not have touched books or even have books at home. They get so excited when new things are brought in to help them learn.
My Project
I want to add these items to the science lab. This is the first year we have a science Lab teacher. So we are starting from scratch. We need butterfly nurseries to study live insects. The magnet wands will let every child have a magnet to learn magnetism. The prepared slides will be a knockout with our microscopes. The plant growth kits will allow students to see all of the plant, including roots. All of these will allow all my students to have their own materials to either observe or touch safely. You can help bring STEM to our school.
