Help me give my students new materials to study science and take measurements!
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Landsittel's classroom raised $257

My Project
I am a high school physics teacher in West Philadelphia, though my class lacks enough supplies to allow students to engage with science.
Thus far, the students have not had a proper lab course; one where they not only learn science but experience it.
They are always asking to do something fun and hands-on, and these meter sticks will help achieve that. With them, we will be able to measure the strength of gravity, calculate spring constants, and predict the energy loss when a ball bounces, among other engaging projects!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
