This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are thirsty for varied, hands on, creative exploration. My students come to school with a growth mindset, looking forward to new learning experiences, and eager to socialize amongst friends and staff. They look forward to and can't wait to engage in active exploration with novel materials they rarely have opportunities to experience at home or in class. Students love to engage in challenges and need numerous opportunities to collaborate with peers to meet the challenges. Science must move beyond the book, and these materials allow my students to experience science through inquiry.
