My Students

Our students live in a primarily low-income area. School is our students' safe and consistent environment. We strive to provide an encouraging, safe and well-rounded experience for our students and to provide them with a fantastic education! Every opportunity that we can give a student is one that will make an impact on their lives forever.

With all odds stacked against them, my group of socially emotionally challenged special education students come ready to learn everyday!

I strive to make learning engaging and fun every day. By using all our resources possible, I am able to send my students to middle school ready for success!

My Project

This project will be used to help students be engaged and have hands on activities for science. Often science is overlooked in classrooms and I want to give students full access to learning it! These kits will allow real world experience of building different STEM projects and allow students to see if they have an interest in pursuing science fields in the future.

Through providing these kits, my students will be able to be engaged and bring science to life.

Students will be challenged to problem solve and use deep thinking strategies as they use these kits.
