Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hands on science is the best type of science. Let my students learn science with hands on experiments.
I want my students to understand the scientific method, not through reading a textbook, but through applying the method in real experiments.
To do that, I need more supplies!
I see many future scientists in my classroom, but they need to have access to materials and experiments now, to build those skills and ideas!
My Project
By having science experiment kits in the classroom, with different experiments, we can do more hands-on-science.
The last donation gave me three kits to use in my classroom. The students love learning science with the experiments and kits. I can't wait to have three more kits covering other scientific concepts!
Your donation will make it possible for my students to do experiments all year long and become great scientists!
In fifth grade the students take the science test that covers everything they were supposed to have learned in the last 6 years (k-5). I found out that many of my students were so far behind in reading, they did not get much science, so these kits will help them learn what they need to know!
