Science Kits for Fun And Discovery!

My students need kits(science learning centers)to explore and learn adaptive science curriculum.

My Students

My students are eager learners who have been excited by the Adaptive Science lessons we have focused on this year!

Our school community is a Title 1 school that is represented by countries around the world.

Our classroom is a a wonderful group of students who are identified as having moderate to severe disabilities; we have a great partnership with a 1st grade general education classroom as well.

My Project

The students have begun learning about Science with adaptive lessons that I have created, and we are ready for more structured curriculum. They have shown interest and excitement in our work so far. I believe that these materials will help us begin to experiment with various topics that their peers are learning about as well. The materials in these kits(science learning centers) can be adapted for every student in the program to access their individual learning needs. Our students do best with materials that they can touch, see, and explore. The materials in these Science kits are closely aligned with our grade-level curriculum, giving our students full access to inquiry, learning, and fun while increasing their understanding of each concept.

These Science kits will allow our students to have hands-on access to materials that they can explore and engage with with individualized instruction and accommodations being made to encourage their learning.

Our students have shown how bright and inquisitive they are each day; having access to materials that can be adapted to their own learning needs will allow them to continue increasing their own academic and personal learning.
