This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students that are from low-income communities. Unfortunately, not all these students can ask their parents/guardians for snack money. These students are working hard to be able to take three high school regents during their middle school years: Living Environment, Algebra 1, and English. Our regents preparation is after their extended learning time period, so these students are here much longer than the other students.
Help me be able to provide Care Package variety snacks for these hard-working students so that they can focus when preparing for the regents.
I wouldn't want students to not stay for regents preparation because they are hungry. We all know how hard it is to focus when you're hungry. With your help, we can provide snacks for these hard-working students.
