My Project
My students are curious, hands-on learners who light up when science comes to life through engaging activities. They’re thoughtful, creative, and always full of questions. What makes them so special is their drive to connect what they learn in class to the real world—they’re not just memorizing facts; they want to understand the “why” and “how” behind everything.
The resources I’m requesting will help deepen learning across our science units, including microbiomes, metabolism, weather, traits, and climate change.
For example, magnifying glasses and the compound microscope learning game will help students explore microscopic organisms during our microbiome unit. The circulatory and reproductive system games will bring our human biology units to life, while the water cycle model and weather and climate lab kits will support interactive lessons on Earth’s systems and climate science. The molecular model kit will help students visualize chemical bonds and reactions during our metabolism unit, and anatomy posters will support visual learners across multiple topics.
To encourage engagement, I’ve included reward stickers and teacher stamps for classroom motivation, as well as books to support student-led projects and exploration. My goal is to increase student mastery by creating more opportunities for discovery, discussion, and hands-on practice. These tools will not only support different learning styles but also build confidence in students who need more interactive ways to understand science. With your help, these materials will transform lessons into powerful learning experiences—and help every student feel like a scientist.
