This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing children who have a love for life and learning! In our reading intervention and support class, we strive to do our best in everything we do. We have a growth mindset and challenge ourselves to grow each and every day.

We are peace builders and always think about how we can make our school, community, and world a better place.

My students come from diverse backgrounds. Each student has special qualities that make our classroom more like a family!

My Project

This project will help engage students with hands on activities in the classroom. Students will get to experience learning science while reading. This project will bring in the next generation science standards to teach students in a fun, exciting, and engaging manner. Students will learn about the ecosystem by observing a biosphere. They will witness the life cycle of sea shrimp and see what resources they need for survival. Bringing science into the reading classroom will encourage a love for science and reading in an engaging and exciting learning environment.
