I teach Science to a great group of 7th and 8th-grade students. They come every day ready to learn and interact. I am striving to help them think like scientists and always have a desire to ask 'why' and to know more about the world around them.
Our school is committed to creating a safe and caring environment of life-long learners and responsible citizens.
I hope that they will leave my classroom loving science and wanting to learn more.
With such a large group of students that I see every day we have a great variety of learning styles. I am committed to helping every child learn in a way that will be helpful to them.
My Project
I love integrating other subjects into my Science Curriculum. I love reading and want to emphasize to them how important reading is, even in relation to subjects other than Language Arts. Now that we are returning to in-person learning it will be so nice to have them actually holding physical books. They need to develop that relationship with books again.
The donations to this project will help my students love reading and integrate reading into their Science Curriculum.
I want them to be life-long learners and learn how education can be continual and fun.
I often get asked by students why we are writing or doing math in science. This project will help them to understand that all learning is related and can be integrated together. Other donations will help me get immediate feedback from students and protect precious Science supplies.
