I have the pleasure of teaching 40 enthusiastic second graders. They love to learn, but they need materials that will keep them interested.
I teach in a low socioeconomic school and unfortunately, many of the children that come through my room don't have basic supplies.
Therefore, I provide most of the materials that are in my room. Regardless of background, all of the children are excited about being at school and learning new things.
My Project
The Experiment of the Week Science Lab that I am requesting is an interactive "game-like" way to teach many of the basic science skills that kids need to know in second grade. The Science kit has 30 fascinating science topics…with experiments kids can complete throughout the school year.
This Science Lab will help students to learn second grade science skills in a hands on - interactive way.
