This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My English Language Learner (ELL) students do not necessarily learn differently than other students. However, they can have specific educational needs. English is not their first language and most come from non-English-speaking homes.

"Super Science" magazines can provide modified instruction and additional support by making science accessible to all my ELL students with multiple reading levels.

While learning about the latest scientific and engineering discoveries, students will plan and carry out scientific investigations, analyze graphs and charts, ask questions, and engage in the engineering design process. The hands-on activities include videos with closed captioning.
