My Project

I teach science to 180 incredible students in kindergarten through 5th grade. My students are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world around them. Each grade brings different needs and energy, and I’m lucky to teach such a diverse and enthusiastic group of young scientists. They love asking questions, working together, and getting hands-on with their learning.

To support them, I’m requesting flexible seating, science games, and a classroom microscope.

The flexible seating will allow younger and older students to learn comfortably in a shared space. The science games will make abstract concepts fun and memorable, while the microscope will open up a whole new world of discovery—giving students the chance to observe and investigate like real scientists. These tools will help meet my goal of making science engaging, interactive, and accessible for all learners, regardless of grade or learning style.

My goal is to create a classroom that sparks curiosity and supports exploration. With these resources, I can build a space where students feel excited to learn, confident to try, and inspired to ask questions.
