My students need display boards for Science Fair projects.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Spatz's classroom raised $274
This project is fully funded
I am the science fair coordinator for my school. We are a Title 1 school. This means that many of the students come from homes that are economically disadvantaged, and the parents do not have the extra funds to provide their children with educational tools. Many of the students come from single parent homes or are being raised by their grandparent(s).
It is a requirement for every student in grades 4 through 6 to participate in the science fair with three students from each grade continuing on to compete with other schools in our district. The science fair is an annual event that provides the students with an opportunity to use the scientific process to investigate something that interests them. This has an enormous impact on the students enthusiasm for science and creates a desire to learn.
Although the display boards that I am requesting are not an expensive item, it is still an expense to many of the families that they cannot afford.
Your help will ensure that the students will have an appropriate way to display their project using the display board to clearly explain their research. Many students are excited about science and I want to capitalize on their enthusiasm. When a student is excited about a topic, learning becomes fun, but that fun can be extinguished if they are frustrated. You can help eliminate that frustration.
