My Students

I love my students. They come to me not knowing 4th grade curriculum and they leave knowing so much more knowledge. My kids are like sponges. They soak up so much good information. I try and teach them the best I can and help them learn the best they can. I have shy, outgoing, happy, energetic and SMART students. I want to purchase science supplies that will make my students even smarter. They are so curious about what makes things happen and these experiments and supplies will help so much.

My Project

We are getting a new curriculum in Science. We have never taught some of the topics that have been assigned to the Fourth grade. I have nothing to go along with these units and the Science specialist in the district gave me some wonderful suggestions on what I could get to help teach the kids. I am so excited that I am able to go through Donors Choose to be able to use this in my classroom.

I am asking for tuning forks to help the students understand sound waves.

This is a wonderful set that would allow numerous students at a time to explore this concept.

I am also asking for a Morse Code machine because we now have to teach the kids about codes and the machine that allows that to happen. It is a really neat subject and the students are going to love it.
