Science is a particularly difficult subject to differentiate in my classroom. My students need a variety of materials to meet their IEP goals and learning needs. I can remember as a young student looking forward to getting my weekly Scholastic Science newspapers. There was just something about the articles and beautiful pictures that I loved.
I want to share with my students the information and differentiation offered by Scholastic Science that I loved as a student.
These newspapers (at different levels) offers just what I need to differentiate Science education for my classroom. These newspapers will help me with planning science lessons and help my students by providing science education in a colorful- information-packed weekly newspaper.
I am also including a gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) which is another resource for me to find and utilize differentiated science lessons and materials. When you have to differentiate instruction as much as I do (sometimes 4 levels), using pre-made activities is the only way to go and TPT helps with low-prep printable extension lessons and materials created by teachers for teachers.
