This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Nestled in the quaint neighborhood of our community, is our STEAM Academy. Here you'll find my students: a mixed bag of interesting characters from many different backgrounds who all are in need of classroom essentials to enhance their learning experience. My goal is to supply them with everything they need to support their learning endeavors this upcoming school year 2025-2026. This past year my projects unfortunately weren't funded and so my students had to make-do with odd ends and broken materials.

This year, I would like to start the school year showing my kids that their education matters by having new materials, such as crayons, headphones, and pencils, that are just for them.

A well-stocked classroom with materials right at the beginning show students that they are going to be cared for and that their learning experience matters. Please help me give that gift to my students.
