Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach biological life science classes and physics physical science classes, incorporating hands-on, project-based learning in my classroom. I also incorporate technology, helping students develop 21st-century presentation skills and financial literacy. My classes incorporate STEM and STEAM skills for engineering. Additionally, we focus on social-emotional learning, teaching important life skills and financial literacy. My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners who enjoy applying creativity and hands-on models to their learning.

These materials will enhance their understanding and research, promote safety, and make learning more engaging and fun.

My students need giant microbes to learn about life science and biology, enhancing classroom instruction and learning. We will use these resources as samples and examples to learn important concepts and to gain further understanding.

The giant microbes and physics materials will create visual examples of important learning concepts, and the resources will provide additional information beyond instruction. Additionally, students will apply their understanding to create their own visuals, applying STEAM skills to their classroom environment. The lab safety and cleaning materials will promote a healthy learning environment.
