My Project

Receipt tape for labs: this versatile item is perfect for recording data and observations during experiments. Students can easily write on it, and its long format allows for continuous recording, which is ideal for tracking changes over time or for graphing data.

Cotton swabs for cheek cells lab: Essential for collecting samples in biology experiments, cotton swabs are used to gently scrape the inside of a student’s cheek to obtain cells.

This simple and safe method allows students to observe their own cells under a microscope, making the study of cellular biology personal and engaging.

Methylene blue for cheek cells lab: This stain is vital for making cheek cells visible under a microscope. Methylene blue binds to DNA, highlighting the cell nuclei, and allows students to clearly see and study the structure of cells, which enhances their understanding of cell biology.

Spring scale for Newton's laws: A spring scale is crucial for teaching Newton's laws of motion. It helps students measure force in newtons, making abstract concepts like force, mass, and acceleration tangible and understandable through practical demonstrations and experiments.

Digital thermometers for measuring temperatures for labs: Accurate temperature measurement is fundamental in many scientific experiments. Digital thermometers provide precise readings, ensuring reliable data collection, which is crucial for experiments involving chemical reactions, environmental science, and more.

Dry erase whiteboards for modeling and drawing scientific concepts: Whiteboards are an excellent tool for visual learning. They allow me and my students to easily draw, erase, and modify diagrams and models, facilitating better understanding and discussion of complex scientific concepts.

Digital scales for massing objects: Accurate mass measurements are essential in many scientific experiments. Digital scales provide precise readings, enabling students to gather accurate data for experiments involving chemical reactions, physical science investigations, and more.
