My students need a way to take our classroom wherever we go on campus or off-campus.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gyles's classroom raised $811

My Students
My students think that science is an isolated subject. I want them to experience the science that happens everyday everywhere.
My students attend a small but rapidly growing public, rural elementary school in south Louisiana.
They come from various backgrounds. Children of farm workers, grandparents-turned-parents, professionals and business owners work side-by-side. Our school is a hub for our community.
My Project
With these two Chromebooks my students will be able to research current information for science projects as well as create graphs and charts from information they have gathered. The Chromebooks will allow my students to flow easily from working inside as well as outside the classroom to where we are often doing our science observations and experiments.
Some of my students are accustomed to using electronics for playing.
I want them to learn how to use electronics for learning. For my students without electronic devices at home, I want them to learn the educational value they can possess, not just the social value.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
