Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students that I teach come from all walks of life. While many have a lot there are a good amount of my students who are in the demographics that are being most hit by this pandemic. They have all been affected most in absenteeism with a rate of around 20% a day.
My Project
The projector will allow me to social distance my classroom while making it so all students can see the instruction in any light. It will also allow me to better display instructions during a lab or activity decreasing their need to interrupt the whole class.
At home instructional labs have become critical in this time of absences and sickness in allowing the students to witness phenomena and quality instruction.
I have added different lab material that will allow me to create high quality instructional videos with good phenomena and to do labs in class as well.
