Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is full of very energetic and eager learners! They are always discovering new objects and finding objects on our nature walks! Science is something that is important to them, and I want to give them the necessary materials to grow in this area.
I have two preschool sessions-AM and PM-both with 20 students.
Many of my students are English Language Learners and are considered At-Risk. I am working on developing English Language skills as well as getting my students academically and socially ready for kindergarten.
My Project
I want to provide my students with science materials that are very exciting and interesting for them. They love discovering new objects and ideas. With the Science Discovery Kits I am requesting, I plan on creating a large science center for my students to explore.
These materials will help my students grow as learners.
They will get to be scientists and use new materials they have never used before. I am excited to introduce them to new topics and experiments we have not had in our classroom before.
