My Students

As a child, do you remember how much fun it was to go outside and explore the world? My students love to explore our world but lack the materials to do so!

My classroom is made up of 25 Kindergarten students representing many different backgrounds.

As their teacher I am passionate about including Science in any way that I can. Science excites my students and gets them interested in reading, writing, and math. Many times when we sit down to conduct experiments, my students will need to wait to take their turn because we do not have enough materials for all of them to participate at the same time.

My Project

We would like to have materials for a Science Cart that we can use and store materials on. The materials that would help make our explorations more enjoyable for ALL my students at the same time include tweezers, funnels, thermometers, magnifying glasses, and microscopes. We would also like to have goggles to help protect our eyes and condiment cups in which to conduct experiments.

My students get excited about Science!
