Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love learning about science, especially simple machines, animals and rocks. We are currently working on making a dedicated space in our classroom exclusively for science. I would love to include books on each unit topic; such as Rocks, Life-Cycles, Habitats, Simple Machines, Push and Pull, the Ocean and Magnets.
Science books begin to spark the imagination, makes scientific concepts more accessible and understandable for young students.
Exposure to science through books can foster a lifelong love of learning and a desire to explore the world through a science.
